Quezon Province is really rich in culture, heritage, history and in natural resources. Well known as an agricultural province in Southern Luzon, Quezon Province is one of the largest and richest producers of commodities such as rice, fruits and vegetables.
Last June at SM City Lucena, Quezon Province is able to showcase once again its pride in creative and world-class craftsmanship with the the Crafts of Quezon Exhibit.
The following is the context from the exhibit:
"Quezonians are known as among the happiest Filipinos who celebrate festivals all year round - from the Tagkawayan Day on January 1 to Sariaya's Belen Festival on December.
They are also very creative people who celebrate the rich produce of their land - coconuts, rice, bananas - by transforming these into the world class products.
From buli weaving in Mauban and Sariaya to coconut inspired crafts in Candelaria to kiping souvenirs in Lucban to driftwood sculptures in Banglos to coconut based soaps in Lucena to Ugu Bigyan's artisan pottery in Tiaong, Quezon is a treasure trove of some of the most amazing products."
Indeed blessed with rich land very much suitable for agriculture plus Quezonians creativity and knack to create something beautiful and useful, yields to words that best describe Quezon's products; all fresh and natural - WORLD CLASS.
